Call For Applications: The Youth 4 Policy (Y4P) Innovation Fellowship 2024
The Youth 4 Policy (Y4P) Innovation Fellowship is designed to nurture young and emerging policymakers keen on transforming Uganda’s startup ecosystem. Y4P is seeking highly passionate and qualified individuals to conduct in-depth research and produce valuable, high-quality policy papers that will scale and support the emergence of Uganda’s nascent startup sector.
Requirements
- Must be residents in Uganda (nationality not required)
- Demonstrated interest in policy and innovation.
- Suitable candidates may come from; Entrepreneurship, law, journalism, policy, technology, economics, engineering, business
Program Structure
- Duration:Â 5 Months
- Modules and Workshops:Â Structured training and interactive sessions
- Mentorship:Â Bi-weekly check-ins with experienced mentors
- Deliverables:Â Research and submission of a high-quality policy paper

Graduation Criteria
To graduate, fellows must;
- Attend atleast 80% of the module days
- Participate in at least 8 out of 12 mentorship sessions
- Submit a final policy paper approved by KAS
