Call For Applications: YouLead Africa Lead(H)er Fellowship Program 2024 for Young Eastern and Southern African Women (Fully Funded)
YouLead Africa, Plan International MEESA, and the African Union Office of the Youth Envoy are now calling for applications for the 3rd Cohort of Lead(H)er Fellowship for young women based in Eastern and Southern Africa. Lead(H)er, which stands for “she is a leader”, is a Fellowship that was conceptualized with the aim of supporting young women in Africa by nurturing their skills, expertise, and aspirations in the fields of Politics, Economics/Business, and Peace and Security. The aim of the Fellowship is to provide a safe space for Young Women who haven’t been exposed much to regional and international opportunities while amplifying their impact at local and grassroots levels.

Requirements
- The third cohort is open for young women up to 25 years old and nationals/residents of the following countries: Tanzania, Kenya, Uganda, Rwanda, Ethiopia, South Sudan, Malawi, Mozambique, Lesotho, Zambia, and Zimbabwe.
- The Third Cohort of Lead(H)er Fellowship is structured in 5 months, with the first module being held in person, and the second module will be virtual through a blending of online sessions and e-learning/self-paced modalities.
- These will be complemented by personal assignments, group work, and readings to enrich the overall learning experience of the Fellows.BenefitsTo assist the Fellows with their participation, YouLead Africa Lead(H)er Fellowship will be covering the costs for the physical participation and assist with internet packages to facilitate their online engagement and the completion of related assignments.Application Procedure:
