The International Student Scholarships at York University, Glendon Campus are of various types for international students to choose. They include:
- York Entrance Scholarships and Awards: This scholarship is for international students who are freshmen at the university and do not require an application. This means that students are automatically considered for the award.

- York University Academic Excellence Scholarships for International Students: Five to ten of these scholarships are awarded per year, valued at $5,000 to $10,000 towards a student’s first year of study.
- Annie Demirjian ’77 Scholarship: This is one of the Glendon Entrance Scholarships and Awards that is valued at between $5,000 – $10,000 per year awarded to an incoming international student admitted to Glendon with top academic standing. Eligibility Criteria for the York University International Student Scholarships
To be eligible for the York University International Student Scholarships and Awards, applicants are required to meet the following:
- Must be an international student who is required to have a Study Permit to study in Canada.
- Must have applied to an undergraduate degree program at York that begins in Fall 2022.
- Must have a 9-digit York reference number, which you will receive within 5 business days of applying for admission to York.
- Must have applied to York directly from high school no more than two years after graduation, and have no previous university or college studies.
- Must have demonstrated leadership through community service or excellence in the arts, sports, or other areas of individual achievement.
- Must have excellent academic record with a minimum “A” average or equivalent.
