The Swedish Institute (SI) Global Executive Programme offers an opportunity for top leaders from selected countries to delve into Sweden’s successful sustainability cases and learn from industry experts. Here’s an overview of the program:
Objective: To develop forward-thinking business executives who can drive sustainable change within their organizations and communities.

Program Highlights:
- Duration: May to November 2024, featuring online sessions and a one-week onsite module in Sweden.
- Content: Interactive workshops, lectures, coaching, and meetings with representatives from Swedish companies and organizations.
- Global Reach: Brings together 100 leaders from 22 countries to share perspectives, experiences, and opportunities.
Eligibility Criteria:
- Citizenship and residency in one of the program countries: Bangladesh, Brazil, China, Colombia, Egypt, Georgia, India, Indonesia, Kenya, Malaysia, Mexico, Moldova, Morocco, Nigeria, Philippines, Rwanda, South Africa, Tanzania, Thailand, Turkey, Ukraine*, or Vietnam. (*Ukrainian applicants residing outside Ukraine are eligible)
- Leadership position (CEO or senior executive) in a medium to large company with a mandate for strategic changes.
- Age: At least 30 years old (born in 1994 or earlier).
- Proficiency in written and spoken English.
- Completed post-secondary education (equivalent to a bachelor’s degree or higher).
- Willingness to actively participate, provide support, and share experience and knowledge.
- Identification of business needs or problems related to sustainability for the program.
Company Requirements:
- Locally owned and based in one of the program countries.
- Operation within industries associated with the green transition or commitment to sustainable practices.

- Sweden Week (October): Onsite experience in Sweden, featuring workshops, field visits, and networking.
- Way Forward (November): Final online sessions to put strategic projects into action.
