NSTC International Internship Pilot Program 2024
The National Science and Technology Council (NSTC) is now accepting applications for its International Internship Pilot Program. This opportunity is open to Bachelor’s, Master’s, and PhD students of foreign nationality who are currently enrolled in institutions abroad.
The program offers a monthly subsidy of 30,000 NTD for a maximum of three months, allowing interns to gain hands-on experience and explore Taiwan’s strengths in science and technology.
The NSTC’s program is designed to attract global talent, offering students a chance to pursue advanced studies or begin their careers in Taiwan.

Eligibility Criteria
Applicants are expected to meet the following conditions for the NSTC International Internship Pilot Program:
- Applicants must be international students
- Applicants who are Bachelors, masters and PhD students with foreign nationality
- Applicants who are studying in foreign colleges and universities and whose specialty meet the core strategic industries can apply.
- Interns will do their internship in Academic and Research Institutions in Taiwan.
Internship Benefits
- Interns will receive 30,000 NTD subsidy monthly, 3 months at most

How-to-Apply: You can complete your application in the following steps:
- Create a username and password to log in to the application and check on the status of it.
- Review the terms and conditions.
- Create an online profile and complete the application questions.
- Upload all required documents includes:
- Online Application Form
- Head-shot Photo (360×480 pixel)
- Certificate enrolment
- Letter of recommendation
- Curriculum Vitae (in English or/and Chinese; limited to two A4 pages per version)
- Review your profile information and update it if necessary.
- Submit your application.
- You can revise the profile any time before the application deadline.
