Eligibility Requirements
To be considered for the NIPES Daniel Ejike Ewim Scholarship, you must:
- Must be currently enrolled in an accredited higher institution.
- Be Studying science or engineering-related courses.
- Be students in 100-level and above.
- Mandatory: Applicants must complete at least one free NIPES online course and explain the skills learned in their personal statement.
- Note that students who are members of NIPES will be given priority consideration for the scholarship. Non-members are encouraged to join NIPES as soon as possible.
- As part of the application process, you are required to enroll in and complete one of NIPES’s free online courses. These courses are designed to develop practical skills and creative thinking.
- Upon completing the course, you will receive a certificate of completion, which you must reference in your personal statement.
Benefits
The NIPES Engineering and Science Scholarship will award a sum of ₦2m for five selected candidates to be distributed at a rate of ₦200,000 each.
