We are recruiting to fill the position below:

Job Title: Operations Assistant

Location: Abuja
Employment Type: Full Time

Responsibilities

  • Calculate and impute charge backs into the oracle data base
  • Perform prompt update of the asset register into the oracle data base.
  • Ensure proper record keeping of stocks, including cleaning items, stationaries e.t.c
  • Perform issuance and record keeping of diesel and fuel.
  • Prepare expense reports, requisitions etc. for staff without computer systems in the oracle data base.
  • Prepare reports, presentations, and correspondence as required.
  • Support procurement activities, including inventory management etc.
  • Liaise with vendors, service providers, and contractors to ensure timely delivery of services.
  • Track and give report on key performance indicators (KPIs) for the Station.
  • Assist in on-boarding new staff by preparing resources and conducting orientations
  • Ensure balancing of all stocks in the Station.
  • Ensure that assets and furniture are moved with authorization.
  • Prepare Requisitions, LPOs etc. in the Oracle data base.
  • Perform any other duty as may be assigned by the Supervisor

Requirements
Qualifications:

  • B.Sc/HND in Business Administration, Finance, Accounting, Operations Management or related field with a minimum of two (2) years’ experience performing a similar role in a well-structured environment.

Competencies
The ideal candidate must:

  • Be proficient in MS Office Suite (Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Outlook)
  • Be proficient in the use of software like Oracle etc
  • Have ability to work independently and as part of a team, and pay attention to details
  • Be proactive, resourceful and able to prioritize tasks effectively
  • Be flexible and adaptable to changing circumstances
  • Be committed to maintaining confidentiality and professionalism.
  • Be familiar with inventory management tools is a plus
  • Have strong organizational and multi-tasking skills
  • Have excellent communication, problem solving skills
