Job Title: Lead Process Engineer – Area B & C

Tasks

• To coordinate and provide Process Control expertise to Production units A/B/C for areas B & C to maximise plant safety, reliability, efficiency, and capacity and ensure process technical safety.
• To interface with Production support and integrate Process Control and Process Technology advice to provide the most optimized solutions to operate Area B & C.

Main Accountabilities

• Execute day-to-day activities related to areas B&C as defined by Asset Management Systems (AMS) modules including Ensure Safe Production (ESP), Pro-active Technical Monitoring (PTM) reports, Asset Integrity- Process Safety Management, participate in process Technical Safety Assurance (TSA) as TA3 and compliance reviews.
• Ensure quality in the day-to-day support to operations, including quality control of deliverables and ensure that advice to operations is documented, including impact to maintain safe and sustainable plant operations.
• Provide necessary support to process technology in executing the long-term program of process technical safety reviews to cover all RAM 5 A/B and high-risk process areas.
• Responsible NLNG asset B&C principal process engineer (TA3) to assure technical integrity of installations by monitoring and supporting operations day-to-day to maintain minimum required design and engineering standards as defined by the process technical safety reviews (HAZOP, PSSR, etc) for plant changes, third party projects integration, ESP and AI-PSM, in conjunction with the other discipline / process technology TA3s.
• Demonstrate HSSE Leadership and Process Safety accountabilities to safely operate and manage production facilities.
• Execute the guidelines and directions provided by process technology support to achieve maximum profit of NLNG through energy efficiency, maximizing production capacity, and minimizing trip frequency.
• Execute the guidelines and directions provided by process technology support to reduce environmental impact of NLNG operation to minimize flaring, optimize fuel consumption and minimize waste generation.

Requirements

• Bachelor’s Degree in Chemical Engineering or other Engineering / Science disciplines at Second Class Lower Division (2.2) and above.
• Minimum of 8 years post-graduation work experience in Operations and Technology assignments in the Oil & Gas industry. At least 3 years should have been spent in a similar position in the Oil and Gas industry.
• Ability to interfaces with Engineering, Assets, Operations, Maintenance, Technology and HSE are critical. Technical Authority (TA3) Certified in Process Engineering/Process Technology.
