We are recruiting to fill the position below:
Job Title: Finance Intern
Location: Abuja
Job Purpose
- Working within the Programme, finance and operations, the job holder will be responsible for supporting the implementation of the Feed the Future Agribusiness Investment Activity:
- Support in planning, project implementation in line with the organization’s goal.
- Assist in a wide range of tasks which the team undertakes in the implementation of the activity.
Main Responsibilities
- Assist in preparing payment vouchers
- Update cash register with postings from cost point.
- Assist in checking tax updates and payments
- Assist in gathering/photocopying of supporting documentations for payment vouchers and coding and filling of payment vouchers in arch file accordingly.
- Assist in tracking and following up on all outstanding advances to ensure timely retirement of project team.
- Ensure procurement records and vouchers follow organizational guidelines and procedures of federal and state regulations.
- Support to develop monthly financial reports and complete end of month close procedures.
- Assist in innovative implementation of activities for programme delivery and achievement of organizational objectives.
- Arranging and coordinating programme meetings and activities, also ensure reports are written and submitted within the expected timeframe.
- Carry out any other duty assigned.
Knowledge (Education & Related Experience)
- Completed one year (NYSC) National Youth Service Corps
- Accounting, Finance or similar degree, or relevant work experience
Skills (special training or competence):
- Good analytical skills.

Salary
N30,000 – N50,000 / Month.
