Job Title: Assistant Floor Manager – Retail

Job Summary
- Assistant Floor Manager will be responsible for overseeing the day-to-day operations of the shopping mall;responsible for managing a team of sales Associates, ensuring that customer service standards are met, and monitoring store performance, you will also be implementing visual merchandising and marketing strategies to increase sales and drive customer loyalty.
Job Responsibilities
- Aiming for sales maximization; ensuring an efficient goods flow, an accurate cash management, and an accurate store administration.
- Manage, control, and direct the retail store and continuously improve on functionality and service level in order to achieve our Customer Experience goals.
- Manage staffing plans, schedules, quality initiatives, process change initiatives, and other Change initiatives necessary to enable the Operations plans.
- Ensuring that store operations comply with company policies and procedures.
- Collaborating with other departments to ensure that the store is running smoothly.
- Managing the budget and ensuring that the store is operating within financial targets.
- Set the requirements and expectations for Supervisors and Pickers.
- Measure performance through metrics, providing feedback, and holding supervisors and pickers accountable for their performance and the performance of their teams.
- Be proactive and ensure that best practices are shared across all Retail Stores and shifts.
- Work closely with other teams (HR, Category Management, Facility contractors, Safety Manager) to create and implement initiatives.
- Supervise the maintenance of the working environment ensuring health and safety standards across the store.
- Achieve stock accuracy targets.
- Continuously measure and evaluate the production departmental goals and all work processes, available daily labor, and daily production goals.
- Improve quality and eliminate errors, reducing business costs.
- Manage and report main KPIs on a weekly basis.
- Developing and implementing visual merchandising and marketing strategies
- Managing inventory and ordering new products as necessary
- Assisting with training and development of employees
- Leading by example and being a role model for the team
- Ensures salespersons strictly man their allocated section and promptly refill goods on shelves.
- Ensure timely purchases of all out-of-stock goods in liaison with the purchasing manager
- Addresses all issues that may arise during routine business operations.
- Ensuring all business processes (Standard Operations manual) are adhered to accordingly.
- This all should lead to the highest possible customer flow and turnover, and at the end to store profitability.
Qualifications
- Bachelor’s Degree in Business, Retail Management, or a related field.
- Minimum of 3 years of experience in a retail management.
- Strong leadership and team management skills.
- Excellent customer service skills.
- Experience with visual merchandising and marketing.
- Knowledge of retail operations and inventory management.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
- Strong sense of responsibility and attention to detail.
