We are recruiting to fill the position below:
Job Title: Admin Assistant – Maternity Cover
Location: Sokoto, Nigeria
Dimension of the Role
- Creation of Purchase requisition on SAP
- Provide day to day support to staff in general in general office operations and identify future needs
- Prepare and file documents for signature and /or action, as necessary and ensure that proper filing systems are in place in the office
- Coordinates the planning and organization of meetings and workshops
- Arrange for repair and maintenance of office equipment and machinery to ensure that staff works effectively without disruptions
- Ensure timely welcome services, hotel and flight bookings and other support services for staff and visitors
- Coordinate and manage movement register for all staff and visitors on the project in Sokoto
- Effective management of office operations
Technical Expertise, Skills and Knowledge
- A Degree in Business / Public Administration or related field
- At least 2 years work experience in administration and logistics generalist role
- Experience in the use of SAP
- Highly developed interpersonal and communications skills including good listening skills, influencing, negotiation and coaching
- Capacity to build and maintain relationships and to work effectively in a multi-cultural and multi-ethnic environment while respecting diversity
- Ability to maintain confidentiality
- Experience in Microsoft Word, Excel, PowerPoint and Outlook
- Fluency in English with excellent writing and speaking skills is required
- Demonstrable experience in office management and staff coordination
- Knowledge and understanding of Nigeria’s policy environment
