Call For Applications: ITU/Huawei Generation Connect Young Leadership Program 2024 (up to $10,000 grant)
The Generation Connect Young Leadership Program (GCYLP) is seeking to engage, empower, and inspire young digital leaders and changemakers worldwide. In collaboration with Huawei, the International Telecommunication Union (ITU) is offering guidance, training, and financial support to 30 young fellows annually, enabling them to implement digital development projects in their communities.

- Age: Applicants must be between 18-28 years old.
- Interest: Applicants should be passionate about leading digital development projects in their communities.
- Education: Applicants must be enrolled in or recently graduated from a STEM or STEM-related academic program.
- Language: Proficiency in English is required to benefit from the program’s offerings.
Benefits:
- Virtual mentorship and leadership training sessions from ITU and Huawei.
- Participation in an in-person global training week (location to be confirmed).
- Up to USD $10,000 grant to implement a digital development project of choice. Selected fellows will initially receive a USD $5,000 grant, with the opportunity to receive an additional USD $5,000 for scaling up the most impactful projects.
