How to Become a Pastor

I used to be a Muslim until everything changed for me in 2017. Back then, I never for once thought some people gave it a thought of becoming a pastor. The Journey of becoming a pastor was what no one is ever willing to do, it just happen all of a sudden because God chose you.

I never even thought someone could ask the question of how to become a pastor because I have never given Christianity much thought. If I was told being a pastor was a Job to some, I would disagree. However, my mindset started shifting when I received the life of Christ.

The mindset shift still never made me pay much attention to some things as I still thought becoming a pastor was limited to establishing your church, but in 2018, I found out what I would never have given a thought.

I was given philosophy in place of law for admission, it was a course I knew nothing about, so I decided to look out for what I could do with the certificate after my four years at the University.

Guess what I found? With the certificate, I could become a pastor or a chaplain, that was when I started researching more about it as my interest grew. It was at that period I realized some people chose religious studies as a course of study.

It was a total shock for me because I felt the only way to become one is by being called by God through a vision, then Boom, you become one by establishing your church. Over the years, I’ve learned so much about how to become a pastor and I must say I wouldn’t have known anything if I had not received the life of Christ.
