Call For Applications: D-Prize Global Competition 2024 for Entrepreneurs (Up to $20K Grants)
They seed new organizations distributing proven poverty solutions, all aiming to scale. D-Prize is looking for entrepreneurs who can design a new nonprofit or social venture that distributes an existing poverty solution to thousands, maybe even millions of people.

They have identified over a dozen products and services known to alleviate poverty. They now challenge entrepreneurs to design ways to distribute to people in need.

- Propose Your Own Challenge: D-Prize is specifically interested in distributing proven poverty interventions to those in need. If you know of a highly effective intervention that is backed by credible evidence, they want to hear what it is and see your plan to increase its distribution.
Prizes
- D-Prize will award the most promising teams with up to $20,000USD to launch their new organization wherever extreme poverty exists.
Eligibility
- D-Prize is for new organizations. Most of their awardees are first-time entrepreneurs. Most have not yet launched their organization, nor have they raised other funding.
- They especially encourage those from low- and middle-income countries to apply.
- They will consider applications from existing organizations only if your core focus is distributing an existing and evidence-based poverty intervention.
- They typically will not support organizations with more than 18 months of full-time operations or that have raised more than $30,000 USD in outside funding.
