Job Title: Project Coordinator
Location: Ibadan, Oyo

Description
- Oversee day-to-day management and implementation of the IFAD Agribusiness Hub project activities in close collaboration with other staff and project partners.
- Supervise and coordinate the activities of the IFAD Agribusiness Hub project in Nigeria toward achieving the project goals objectives, expected output, and outcomes as contained in the project agreement.
- Support the development of young Agripreneurs through demonstration and training in close collaboration with all project actors especially with the Agrihub Managers.
- Represent and promote the activities, results, impacts, and outcomes of the project at the professional, donor, and other stakeholders’ meetings.
- Ensure that quarterly and annual consolidated technical and financial reports for the project are prepared and submitted to the donor on schedule and as contained in the project agreement.
- Ensure all financial transactions are carried out following the IFAD procurement process and aligned to activities as contained in the AWPB
- Provide oversight and guidance to hub managers and PMU on all matters about the smooth operation of the project, following the implementation arrangements
- Keep abreast of contemporary issues in rural development in project locations, and submit studies and surveys relevant to the upscaling and replication of the project
- In collaboration with the relevant recruitment unit, contribute to the recruitment and engagement of project staff, consultants, and service providers following the stipulated standard of Annual Work Plans and Budgets (AWPBs).
- Receive and arrange for the production and circulation of reports, studies, and other project documentation from implementing partners as appropriate.
- Perform any other job-related duties as may be assigned by the Supervisor.
Qualifications
- Master’s Degree in Agriculture or related field with a minimum of five (5) years’ experience performing a similar role in a well-structured environment.
Competencies:
The ideal candidate must:
- Be computer literate with a good working knowledge of computer-based control systems, shared network drives, and Excel packages.
- Have experience in working with youths.
- Have experience in designing agribusiness programs for youths.
- Be vast in resource mobilization and advocacy activities.
- Have good team working skills and must be able to share all relevant information with colleagues and users pro-actively at the right time;
- Have good manners in showing flexibility, respect, friendliness, and cooperation.
- Show ability for efficient and harmonious team leadership.
- Have good personality and interpersonal relationships as well as excellent communication skills.
