earlySTEMer is an online platform for kids to learn practical technology skills such as Coding, Web Design, and Robotics. Kids learn online, work on practical projects, and get one-on-one tutoring when they need help.

We are recruiting to fill the position below:

Job Title: STEM Learning Facilitator (Physical)

Location: Lagos
Employment Type: Full-time

Description

  • We are looking for a facilitator to join our growing team on a full-time basis. This person will be directly involved in raising the next generation of tech-savvy professionals as she will be responsible for developing and delivering STEM content for our partners.

Responsibilities

  • Learn through self-paced courses to become familiar with different areas of technology (coding, web design, robotics)
  • Teach and facilitate students learning on the platform. Teaching will be physical and in class and will include providing guidance on exercises and projects, grading projects, and general communication to help students progress in their learning
  • Development and continuous enhancement of STEM-based resources to be used by our partners (schools, teachers, parents, kids)
  • Track, measure, and provide feedback (e.g. reports) on the development of learners
  • Research on new methods and approaches to STEM learning.

Requirements

  • Candidates should possess a Bachelor’s Degree, HND or OND qualification.
  • Strong empathy skills and ability to work effectively with children
  • Ability to think critically with great problem-solving skills
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills
  • Willing to learn new things, especially in the area of Technology
  • Good use of office suite applications (e.g. word processing, spreadsheets, presentations)
  • Computer science skills (e.g. Coding, Web design) are not compulsory but are a plus
  • Attention to details.

Salary

N75,000 / month.
