Job Title: Senior Associate, Business Regulatory Advisory Unit

Summarize Job Description
- Supervision of members of the team and taking responsibility for team growth and development
- Conducting effective legal research and Preparation of Legal advisory with minimal supervision
- Provide company secretarial services to assigned clients and provide effective support to team lead.
- Interfacing with regulators and stakeholder engagements on behalf of clients
- Ability to function effectively across at least 3 of the 4 business units within the Unit
- Responsibility for assigned client portfolio management with minimal supervision from line manager
- Advising and dealing with Compliance Matters
- Responsibility for coordination of the preparation and issuance of debit notes
- Responsibility for managing and supervising of other associates within the team
- Preparation of Proposals and Capability Statements
- Supporting on business strategy and innovations.
Person Specification
- LLB, BL, (ICSA or ICSAN certification)
- 8 – 12 years’ post call experience
- Possess and display competence in leadership, business development and technical expertise
- The ideal candidates must display knowledge, competence, and expertise in Company Secretarial, Business Advisory, Corporate Governance and Regulatory Compliance processes.
- Appreciation of the need to bill client and connect same with the Unit’s target
- Ability to secure and maintain new business
- Excellent communication skills
- Ability to develop excellent relationships with clients
- Display depth in research abilities and legal drafting.
