Job Title: Procurement Associate
Location: Lagos
Employment Type: Full-time
Job Objective
- As a procurement associate, you will be responsible for the effective delivery of procurement services to Jumia as a group and promote a collaborative, client-focused, quality and result oriented approach in the Procurement Unit.
Responsibilities
- Assistance with the preparation of Request for Quotation, Invitations to Bid, Requests for Proposal and co-ordination of their timely delivery
- Assist the other procurement associates in maintaining current up to date Procurement documents and Manuals
- Evaluation of bids, quotations and cost for approval.
- Preparation of management information and statistical report.
- Work closely with the Store keeping unit on monthly packaging usage and expected restocking plans
- Maintain appropriate records to ensure that procurement process, decision, and contractual agreement are accurately documented for accountability and audit purpose.
- Proper documentation of closed out requests for final payments with the finance department
- Expected to work closely with all stakeholder departments within the company on projects and monthly requisitions.
- Assist with managing the process throughout the duration of any project being carried out by a user department
- Perform other duties related to the field as assigned by the supervisor.

- Be willing and able to meet tight deadlines and work long hours when required.
