Job Title: Rigger / Technologist (Technical Services)

Locations: Warri – Delta, Port Harcourt – Rivers
Employment Type: Full-time

Job Description

Site survey and planning for the installation of telecommunication equipment.
Installation and decommissioning of telecommunication cables and equipment
Installation, relocation and removal of tower-mounted equipment
Working at heights on a range of telecommunications structures including poles, towers, masts and buildings to install antennas, feeders and ancillary equipment
Erection and fixing of steel structures to facilitate the installation of telecommunications equipment
Erection and fixing of steel structures to facilitate the installation of telecommunications equipment
Termination of telecommunications cables of various types and sizes;
Testing of cables for compliance with specifications
Working with cranes, cherry pickers and EWP’s as required to carrying out works on site
Conducting site audits
Coordination of manual labour services on project sites
Plans network installations by studying customer orders, plans, manuals, and technical specifications; ordering and gathering equipment, supplies, materials, and tools, assessing installation site; preparing an installation diagram.
Maintains customer rapport by listening to and resolving concerns; answering questions.
Verifies service by testing circuits, equipment, and alarms; identifying, correcting, or escalating problems.
