- Interested in joining the UBA Tribe? We are currently sourcing for a Talented and experienced HR professional to join the tribe as a HR Business Partner for our East and South Region.
- The ideal candidate will have experience in all areas related to the human resources field. They should be comfortable onboarding new candidates and collecting necessary background information as well as assisting employees while at work. This candidate must either currently live in Port Harcourt or willing to relocate there.
Job Objective
- To ensure an effective business partnering relationship in assigned regions, in line with the strategic objectives of the bank
- To provide strategic input on Talent Management issue to Business Leaders.
Responsibilities
- Research and analyze employee trends to understand ways to increase employee engagement and retention
- Build partnership and maintain strong relationship with Business leaders to achieve Revenue Budget
- Ensure optimal staffing in assigned region
- Create exceptional candidate & employee experience throughout the employee journey in the Bank
- Drive Talent retention through career development, performance management, succession planning and employee engagement.
- Ensure timely resolution of disciplinary cases, conflicts & Complaint in line with the Bank’s policies
- Ensure consistency in the implementation of HR policies, processes and practice in assigned region
- Support the implementation of projects and associated change management activity
- Maintain in-depth knowledge of legal standards and reduce risks related to daily management of employees
- Set standards for ethics, values and culture of company
Qualification And Experience
- First Degree in any relevant social science degree
- HR certification {CIPD, SHRM, CIPM etc.}
- 8 – 10 years work experience
- Proven experience as a HR Business Partner in a financial sector (added advantage)
- Strong organization, communication and conflict resolution skills
- Demonstrated ability to onboard new employees and manage HR tasks
- Proficient in Microsoft Office suite
Knowledge Required:
- Good knowledge of Employee Lifecycle model with practical/hands-on experience
- Knowledge of HR Metrics & Analytics
- Knowledge of HR processes & Labour law
