How to Apply for Shell Industrial Training and Internship Program (SIWES)
To apply for Shell Industrial Training and Internship Program (SIWES), applicants are expected to read through the eligibility for the program and other requirements before sending your application.
Eligible Courses:
- Engineering
- Geosciences
- Information Technology
- Sciences (Pure Science and Environmental)
- Social Sciences/Arts
- Commercial
Program Objectives:
- Provide students with the opportunity to apply theoretical knowledge in a practical setting
- Develop work-related skills required for the business environment through constructive feedback and supervision
- Enhance skills such as communication, ethics, HSSE, teamwork, and leadership
- Facilitate networking and contact-building for professional development
Be a Nigerian citizen
- Be enrolled full-time in an undergraduate program at a university or polytechnic in Nigeria
- Have school authorization and approval for Industrial Training
- Have a Cumulative Grade Point Average (CGPA) of 3.5 and above
