Call for Application: Orange Corners Nigeria Incubation Program 2024 for Young Entrepreneurs (40,000 Euros in Funding)
About Orange Corners
Orange Corners, a dynamic Dutch program, is committed to empowering young entrepreneurs in Africa and the Middle East by providing a comprehensive support system encompassing training, coaching, networking, finance, and facilities to nurture and propel their enterprises. A distinctive emphasis is placed on entrepreneurs contributing innovative and sustainable solutions to local challenges aligned with the UN Sustainable Development Goals. Through strategic collaborations with local, Dutch, and international businesses, universities, governments, and various organizations, we harness local expertise to effectively build and strengthen the entrepreneurial ecosystem.
To be eligible for consideration, aspiring entrepreneurs from Lagos, Nigeria, must meet the following criteria:
- Be aged between 18-35 years
- Possess a validated innovative business concept, not exceeding 2 years in age
- Demonstrate that the product or service addresses a local challenge in Nigeria
- Align the product or service with the Sustainable Development Goals
Selection of budding entrepreneurs will be based on the evaluation of several key criteria, including innovativeness, feasibility, social impact, clarity of market, and the sustainability and scalability of the business idea, as well as the competence of the entrepreneur or team.

The program will be delivered through a combination of in-person and virtual sessions, adapting to the evolving pandemic situation. Participants can expect to gain foundational entrepreneurial knowledge, tools, and resources, along with access to networks and support essential for the sustainable growth of their businesses.
The application process involves the selection of 50 semi-finalists who will attend a compulsory two-day boot camp, during which a jury will identify the most promising candidates for the incubation program. Final selection will be based on performance during the boot camp, with 20 young entrepreneurs chosen to participate in the six-month program.
