Job Title: Procurement & Logistics Manager

Reports to: The Managing Director

Job Description

  • We are seeking to hire an experienced and competent Procurement Manager who will be charged with the responsibility of finding the best quality products, services, and equipment for the business at the most reasonable costs.
  • The ideal candidate must have extensive experience and a minimum of 10 years in building construction with top Construction Companies that is similar to our activities with proven track records of cost savings.
  • Our Procurement and Logistics Management department plays a crucial role in supporting the organization.
  • The Procurement Manager can significantly reduce costs because more than two-thirds of the revenue can be used to purchase goods and services for the business.

Key Requirements

  • Minimum of a Bachelor’s degree in Engineering, Procurement or any related field.
  • Strong negotiation and networking skills.
  • Good analytical and cost management skills.
  • Minimum of 10 years cognate experience in the Construction sector.
  • Certification in Purchasing and Supply Chain is desired.
  • Masters or similar business degree, or diploma is also desirable.

Desired Abilities:

  • Must be computer literate with sufficient knowledge of Microsoft Excel, work, projects, and excellent use of procurement software.
  • A flair for negotiation and networking decisions and the ability to cope with the pressure of demanding targets and tight deadlines.
  • Has a confident and mature approach and is diplomatic.
  • Good oral and written communication skills.
  • Strong commercial awareness.
  • Ability to adapt to different client needs and to develop and maintain successful working relationships.
  • Good standard of numeracy in order to analyze facts and figures.
